PANAMA STRAW CARE
Our Panama hats are naturally dyed and the color will evolve with time. This is not a defect, but instead an intention of the design. We use a brisa braid that is woven on a bias. As the colors start to evolve, they will form a unique patterned patina that adds character. Limiting direct sun exposure will slow color evolution.To preserve the integrity of the crown, handle our Panama hats by the brim when placing them on and off your head.

HOW TO CLEAN AND PROTECT
Be prepared with: 01 / Hat Care Kit 02 / Bowl of Lukewarm Water 03 / Janessa Leoné HatCLEAN / To begin cleaning, unwrap the provided cloth and dip gently into the water. Remove any excess water before applying the cleaning solution. Next, take the cleaning solution and spray the cloth a few times or desired amount.Once you have applied the solution, gently apply the cloth to the affected area of the hat. Continue to clean the hat in a circular motion until the stain is gone or faded.PROTECT /To apply the protective spray, shake well before use. Hold the bottle 6-8 inches away from the hat and spray a single coat covering the area of the hat. Once finished let the hat sit for 24 hour to activate the protective spray.The protective spray will provide any hat a barrier for potential spills or stains. We recommend applying this spray to all of our hats.
