Oversized but also undersized, Tinsley can easily be packed away or folded down. The Raffia used in our weaves are selected for the highest quality and texture, so it remains tough yet pliable. This is not a straw hat. Straw can be itchy, brittle, and uncomfortable. Tinsley is hand woven from native Raffia Plam Fronds in Madagascar. They’ve spent 80 million years handling heat, moisture, and wind, while still staying soft, strong, and supple.
